Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vucic met with a senior Russian intelligence official for talks on the security situation in the region.
President Vucic also discussed the situation in Europe and the rest of the world with the Director of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service Sergey Narishkin, a statement from the president’s press service said without disclosing any other details of the talks.
The Director of the Serbian Security Information Agency (BIA) Bratislav Gasic was present at the meeting.
The Foreign Intelligence Service is the Russian agency in charge of intelligence activities outside the country. Narishkin took over as head of the service in October 2016.
