According to the Agency for Statistics of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the average net salary in February 2018, has increased compared to February last year, and amounts to BAM 849 (around EUR 430).
Compared to February 2017, this year's salary is 1.3 percent higher, and 1.7 percent lower compared to December 2017.
The lowest average net salary was recorded in the accommodation services sector, amounting to BAM 562 (around EUR 280) and in the administrative and support service sectors BAM 591 (around EUR 300).
The Agency states that the average net salary in the financial and insurance sectors amounted to BAM 1,406 (around EUR 715) and BAM 1,335 (around EUR 680) in the sectors of production and supply of electricity, gas, steam and air-conditioning. The average net salary in the communication sector was BAM 1,225 (around EUR 620)
The average gross salary in February 2018 was BAM 1,319 (around EUR 680), and it is nominally 1.5 percent higher than in February 2017, and 1.6 percent lower compared to December 2017.
