Kuwaiti Princess Nawal Al-Sabah told the Bosnia and Herzegovina's Presidency Chairman Bakir Izetbegovic that Kuwaiti Investment Fund is interested in investing in Bosnia's infrastructure, telecommunication, and energy projects.
Izetbegovic familiarized Princess Al-Sabah with all the great potentials of Bosnia, and stressed that it is in mutual interest to intensify direct communication between Kuwaiti investors and local institutions.
Izetbegovic said that Bosnia and Kuwait are friendly countries and that bilateral relations are good, but that there is room for improvement of economic cooperation.
Princess Al-Sabah leads the Kuwaiti delegation staying in Bosnia. Part of the delegation visited the city of Bihac where they discussed a potential investment in the construction of an airport. The delegation also expressed interest in a number of concrete projects, which they will discuss with the competent Bosnian institutions in time to come.
Al-Sabah is also head of the Kuwaiti Royal investment company, President of the Arab-Egyptian Investment Fund's Management Board, she presides over one of Arab League's commissions and she is the ambassador of peace on behalf of the Royal International Academy.
