The Sarajevo International Airport has introduced online ticker sale, becoming the first sale agent in Bosnia offering this service, the airport management said on Friday.

“Online ticket purchase can be conducted on the official website of the International Sarajevo Airport i.e. through an online form that can be found right after the opening of the website,” said Spokesperson of the airport Sanja Bagaric-Arnaut.

The online system was created in cooperation with the global reservation system Amadeus e-power, and it encompasses all necessary steps needed to conduct the ticket purchase at one place.

Bagaric-Arnaut explained that the system was adjusted to local travellers, hence it was set to Sarajevo as the home destination. “Tickets can be purchased for the flights of more than 50 companies,” she added.

The Sarajevo International Airport records significant increase of passengers and flight operations every year. This January the airport recorded 919 flight operation, which is by 28 percent more than in January 2017, and more than 54,000 passengers, 25 percent more than in January 2017.
