Members of Bosnia's tripartite Presidency Bakir Izetbegovic, Mladen Ivanic and Dragan Covic will meet German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin this week, the Presidency announced on Monday.

Bosnian leaders will travel to Germany at Merkel's invitation on Wednesday. According to the Presidency's brief statement, they will address media prior to the meeting.

Merkel paid an official visit to Sarajevo in July 2015, where she expressed support to Bosnia's road to the European Union but also urged local leaders to carry out essential reforms. Bosnia's Presidency members were in the official visit to Berlin a year later, where they resumed talks with the German Chancellor on Bosnia's European perspective.
