The Serb-dominated Republika Srpska (RS) entity President Milorad Dodik met with the outgoing British Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Edward Ferguson and said that RS remains committed to Bosnia's EU integration and committed to peace and stability and respect for the Dayton Peace Agreement, which ended the war in Bosnia.

Dodik added that RS will cooperate constructively on all issues relevant to the country's EU accession.

He expressed the RS Government's gratitude to the British Government's support to the improvement of the recently adopted RS’ Energy Strategy by the RS Government and expressed his expectation that RS will provide a positive opinion on the State level Framework Energy Strategy which was made with full respect for the competencies of different levels of the Government.

The Bosnian Framework Energy Strategy by 2035 is supposed to set the framework of the development of Bosnia's energy sector, with respect to the energy strategies of both its entities, RS and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Dodik also held a separate meeting with the Croatian Ambassador to Bosnia Ivan Del Vechio to whom he said that all three constituent peoples in Bosnia (Bosniaks, Croats and Serbs) should make sovereign decisions without any impositions from the side and that RS wants to  be in the position provided to this entity by the Dayton Peace Agreement.
