The deadline for the registry of political parties and independent candidates that will participate in the upcoming October general election in Bosnia has expired on Friday, and 72 political parties and 40 independent candidates have submitted their registrations.
The Central Election Commission will by June 9 check all submitted registrations and verify those which meet the legal requirements.
“Today the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina handed ‘BH Posta’ (Bosnia's post office) some 64.000 packages for voters who were registered to vote from abroad in the 2016 Local Election. The packages contain the PRP2 forms with which it is required to confirm the registration for the 2018 General Election, according to the indicated guidelines. The PRP1 form, along with precise guidelines, is available at the Central Election Commission website for new voters who wish to vote from abroad,” the Central Election Commission said in a statement.
