The Serbian government decided on Thursday to allocate almost 3 million Euro in aid to the Republika Srpska (RS), a press release said.

The government decided to secure 2.5 million Euro for the construction of a section of highway connecting several towns in eastern Bosnia near the border with Serbia, it said.

The press release added that another 275,000 Euro will be allocated for “projects of interest to the Serb community” in the towns of Mostar and Nevesinje.

The RS is one of two Bosnia's semi-autonomous, Serb-dominated entities, which signed an agreement on special parallel relations with Serbia years ago. This agreement foresees the cooperation between the RS and Serbia in various sectors.
