Croat Democratic Union (HDZ BiH) Leader Dragan Covic said Friday that more than 40,000 party members make their contribution to the HDZ BiH’s growth by taking part in youth and women's as well as other party organizations. He made these claims during the marking of the 28th anniversary of the founding of HDZ BiH in Rama.
“As always, nobody will ever give us anything, unless we fight for it and win our own position in the society. Nobody will give us anything unless we win this (general) election convincingly. We have showed our strength when we organized ourselves, closed our ranks, won the verdict of the Constitutional Court (on amendments to Election Law, the talks on which are still ongoing), which clearly and unequivocally speaks of the obligation to elect legitimate representatives of the three constituent peoples at all administrative levels of government in Bosnia and Herzegovina,” Covic said addressing the 28th anniversary of the establishment of the party in Rama, western Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He called on the party officials in Rama to make further efforts in the coming days so that the HDZ BiH would confirm its ever-increasing strength in the struggle for equality of the Croat people with the other two peoples in Bosnia, the Bosniaks and Serbs.
