Republika Srpska entity President Milorad Dodik said the RS wants to strengthen the formation of Serb diaspora associations and clubs.
Attending the “Homeland dinner” in Esslingen near Stuttgart, Dodik said that gathering of Serbs in clubs and associations is not an insult to anyone. He expressed his gratitude to Germany for enabling Serbs to express their nationality in this way.
“We want to strengthen the formation of Serb associations and clubs in the diaspora. We said that creation of some Bosnian diaspora club is nothing more than an illusion. That doesn’t exist today and we don’t want to support that,” Dodik said and added that Serbs have a sense of belonging and there are no divisions between them regardless of their place of residence.
He praised the Serb association in Stuttgart for enabling the RS Government to create a number of educational programmes with the diaspora such as those for studying of Serbian language, history, culture, etc.
