The first plane connecting Amman and Mostar landed Monday morning, marking the start of a direct line between the two cities that will be operating until mid-October.

After connecting with several destinations in the western Europe, this will be another destination that will be open for tourists throughout the summer season. The flight will be operating every Monday until October.

Mostar Airport General manager Marin Raspudic said they encountered many obstacles that prevented them from establishing this flight “mostly for security reasons”, but all conditions have been met and Mostar was connected to yet another destination.

“G-Tour” tourist agency, which launched the flights, also offers a weekly arrangement for the tourists from Jordan, which includes visits to Sarajevo, Mostar as well as sightseeing tours near the two cities.

According to “G-Tour” manager Davor Ljubic, some 2,000 citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina live in Jordan with their families, which is why they gravitate to this country.
