US Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Maureen Cormack and Bosnia’s Security Minister Dragan Mektic met Thursday and discussed Mektic’s upcoming visit to the US next week, where he will meet with US government officials, and FBI and NSA representatives.
The two talked about migrations, human trafficking and arms control.
Ambassador Cormack told Mektic that the annual report on human trafficking will be published soon, expressing her concerns about the lack of criminal prosecution especially of persons forcing children to beg for money.
Mektic familiarised Cormack with Ministry's activities on prevention of illegal migrations and expressed his discontent with Prosecution’s reactions in conducting investigations and their efficiency in the processing of persons engaged in human trafficking.
