The Republika Srpska (RS) entity President Milorad Dodik said that the alleged British spies have bugged the state leadership of Serbia and the leadership of this Bosnian entity, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and him.

In a statement to the Serbian daily Kurir, he stated that there is numerous evidence that British intelligence services have a spy centre and that they are spying on the RS leadership, and presumes that the situation is the same in Serbia.

Asked for the evidence to his claims, he responded:

“The evidence are the British Defence Minister’s statements that Great Britain will deal with the Russian influence on this area. In July they plan to form a special operative centre led by the British. These were the statements made by the Minister.”

He claims these were not just ordinary infantry units but special operatives engaged in intelligence work on the basis of very modern and sophisticated technologies.

When asked to comment on his claim that there is a possibility of destabilisation of Serbia,

Dodik said that “spying and destabilisation are one and the same thing” and that “the British are probably spying on Serbia as well.”

According to him, the British intelligence agency has always been present in the area, always working against Serbian state interests and Serb national interests.

“The proof is in the fact that Bosnia’s Intelligence Agency had issued operative orders to spy on Serbian and RS officials. Anyone familiar with the way things work in Bosnia knows such orders cannot be issued without the approval of western services,” Dodik said. When asked whether he notified Vucic of this, Dodik said: “Vucic knows this very well.”

The British daily Times announced recently that British soldiers are coming to Bosnia to prevent Russia's influence on Bosnia’s general election which will take place on October 7, 2018.
