Bosnian Ambassador to Turkey Bakir Sadovic told N1 it is very important that the Turkish election was calm and peaceful and this peace will have a positive effect on their economy because stock markets do not like instability. Speaking about the Turkish-Bosnian relations, Sadovic said Turkey loves Bosnia and helps Bosnia and the Balkans.

Ambassador also expects the continuation of economic cooperation with Turkey.

“I expect Turkey to remain our ally in the NATO and the Euro-Atlantic integration process of our country,” Sadovic said.

According to him, these elections have shown the direction in which the Turkish people want to see Turkey develop.

“The election has shown the type of foreign policy the Turkish people want. They like a strong state and a strong leader. The unlike other countries, like the western European countries where turnout is quite low, Turks are passionate about politics (the turnout in Turkey was 87 percent). They like change and they like dynamics,” Sadovic said.

He also pointed out that previously, a coup used to take place every 10 years in Turkey but with the arrival of the AK Party, this has stopped. The Turkish citizens feel a sort of a connection with President Erdogan, he said.
