Authorities have on Wednesday begun exhuming mass graves found in Jelovacka Cesma – Lovacka Kuca near the eastern town of Vlasenica, where the remains of Bosniak war victims were found last year.
The spokesperson of Bosnia’s Missing Persons Institute (MPI), Lejla Cengic, told the FENA news agency that two mass graves were found there last year and that the remains of 20 people were already found in one of them, and the remains of another eight in the other.
The victims were killed in this area in 1992.
