Bosnia’s average monthly net salary paid in June this amounted to was BAM 872 (around EUR 436) and was nominally higher by 2.5 percent compared to the same month of 2017, and 1.1 percent higher compared to December 2017.
According to Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Statistics Agency, the lowest average monthly net salary of BAM 537 (around EUR 266) was paid in the accommodation and food preparation sectors. The second lowest average net salary was in the construction sector and it amounted to BAM 580 (around EUR 290), while the third lowest average monthly net salary was recorded in the administration sector, amounting to BAM 603 (around EUR 300).
The average monthly net salary in the financial and insurance sectors amounted to BAM 1,559 (around EUR 770), in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply sector the average monthly net salary amounted to BAM 1,368 (around EUR 684) while the average monthly net salary in the IT and communications sector was BAM 1,280 (around EUR 640).
The average gross salary paid in June this year in Bosnia and Herzegovina was BAM 1,356 (around EUR 678), which is nominally 2.6 percent higher than in the same month last year and 1.2 percent higher compared to December 2017.
