Bosnia's Acting Prosecutor meets MICT Prosecutor Brammertz

Bosnia’s Acting Chief Prosecutor met with Serge Brammertz the Prosecutor of the Mechanism for International Criminal Tribunals (MICT), with whom she discussed regional cooperation in war-crimes cases and the issue of the State Strategy for the Work on War Crimes Cases.

Bosnia’s Gordana Tadic and Serge Brammertz also talked about the overview and assessment of the complexity of cases as well as forwarding of less complex cases to entity and district levels.

The two also touched upon changes to the State Strategy for the Work on War Crimes Cases.

The Prosecution said that Tadic and Brammertz discussed regional cooperation between prosecutors’ offices against impunity of war crimes with the aim of improving and strengthening of regional cooperation.

According to the Prosecution’s statement, they concluded that the MICT and Bosnia’s Prosecution have a good, continuous and long-lasting cooperation with a common goal of processing war crimes cases and punishing the perpetrator of war crimes.
