One person died and one was severely injured in a shooting that took place Wednesday late night in the northwestern Bosnian city of Banja Luka, the police confirmed for N1.
Danica Gnjatovic, the police spokesperson, told N1 that one of the two injured persons succumbed to injuries and the other was hospitalised at the Banja Luka clinical centre.
According to the police report, an unidentified person opened fire in the Banja Luka neighbourhood of Kocicev Vijenac, inflicting injuries to two persons with initials D.O. and S.J. Unofficially, Damir Ostojic was shot dead and Sanda Josic was severely injured.
Banja Luka media reported that the accident occurred near the location where the two shot persons lived. Locals told the media that they were spouses and they had three juvenile children.
