Four Kosovo political parties have sent a letter to European Union High Representative Federica Mogherini, opposing border corrections as part of a Belgrade-Pristina agreement.
The opposition Democratic Alliance of Kosovo, Vetvendosje movement, Social Democrat Party and Alternative demanded in the letter that the final part of the dialogue with Serbia should be based on clear principles and a clear framework without disregarding Kosovo state sovereignty.
The parties said that full normalization of relations between Pristina and Belgrade can only be achieved through mutual recognition. “A final agreement with Serbia should allow Kosovo to urgently join international organizations, primarily the UN and open the door to membership in the EU and NATO,” the letter said.
