Serbia is being offered the Community of Serb Municipalities (CSM) in Kosovo instead of a change of borders, Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said on Monday.
“Serbia is being told that a correction of the borders is not an option because it is no realistic and should not be called for and Belgrade is being offered the forming of the CSM in return for Kosovo’s independence,” Dacic said.
“That will not happen,” he said.
“They don’t want to discuss a correction of borders and they want Presevo and Bujanovac (in southern Serbia). That’s very clever is all I can say. Do you know when that will happen? When we will recognize them, allow them into the UN, give them Presevo and Bujanovac, recognize them as a state …. When hell freezes over,” the foreign minister said.
