Bosnian innovators won 7 prizes in the Chinese city of Foshan at an international innovation exhibition. This was the most successful exhibition attended by Bosnia’s Association of Innovators innovators since 1995.

In total, they won seven medals: two gold medals, three silvers and two bronze medals.

PhD Fikret Alic from Tuzla (central Bosnia), a renowned expert in thermodynamics won his gold for a device called “Nano-ferromagnetic fluid filter” intended for purification of polluting gases from motor vehicles and city heating plants.

The second gold medal was won by Josip Lastro from Busovaca (central Bosnia) who created a machine for the picking of soft-fruits on plantations.

Other winners are Armina Camic-Mackovic from Maglaj (central Bosnia), Josip Gujic from Kakanj (central Bosnia), Sasenko Sadikovic from Ljubuski (Western Bosnia), Borko Babalj and Dragan Spaic from Trebinje (southern Bosnia).

The Foshan exhibition gathered exhibitors from 48 countries and hosted a session by the International Federation of Inventors Associations’ (IFIA) General Assembly.

Bosnia’s Association of Innovators stressed that they still lack the support from the state, despite the results they constantly achieve at international exhibitions and competitions.

Once again, they called on all levels of authorities to support their innovators who are the best ambassadors of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
