First Party leader Amer Bekan filed a criminal complaint against the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Bosnia and Herzegovina for, as he said, the criminal offences of unauthorised use of personal data, denial of voting rights, violating the freedom of voters' determination, destroying the election documents and conspiracy to commit crimes.
The complaint was filed with Bosnia's Prosecutor's Office and it among other things pointed out the problem of over 250,000 registered voters not having an ID card.
“According to the Central Election Commission's official data by August 23, 2918, the central election roll counted 3,352,993 voters and according to the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers and Data Exchange (IDDEEA) the number of citizens owning an ID card is 3,101,473,” Brkan said, adding that the previous election cycles were also carried out with colliding data.
“Among other things, the number of ID cards that doesn't match the number of registered voters for the October election points at possible irregularities of the CEC in the upcoming election, which have the features of the criminal offence from the Articles 149, 150, 151 and 154 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” reads the complaint.
