The authorities at all levels should find together a solution to the issue of accommodation of migrants who are currently in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bosnia's Foreign Affairs Minister Igor Crnadak said on Thursday.
The minister met with Peter Van der Auweraert, Sub-regional Coordinator of the International Organisation for Migrations (IOM) for the Western Balkans who informed him about the current developments in the country concerning migrants and refugees with the focus on the activities of crucial actors on the field.
All levels of the authorities in Bosnia should find together a solution for the problems concerning the accommodation of migrants currently staying in the country, Crnadak said and thanked the IOM's official for the engagement and assistance it has been providing to the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina in overcoming the migrant-related issues.
Van der Auweraert invited the minister to attend an international conference in Marrakesh on December 10 this year, which is expected to result in the adoption of the global compact for the arranged and safe migrations, an agreement encompassing all dimensions of the international migrations and harmonised by the United Nations member states.
