Police shooting: Injured police officer succumbs to wounds

Unknown assailant(s) shot two police officers in Sarajevo’s Alipasino Polje neighbourhood in the early morning hours, killing one of them instantly and gravely injuring another, who died in the hospital hours later as doctors tried to save his life.

All police forces, including the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), are involved in tracking down the killer(s) and bringing them to justice, police officials said at a press conference.
