On the Rocks, a hit all-male a cappella ensemble from Oregon, is set to take a tour and give performances in Bosnia and Herzegovina's towns of Prijedor and Bihac, the US Embassy to Bosnia announced on Tuesday.
The ensemble from the University of Oregon will hold free of charge performances at the Prijedor Theatre on October 31 and a day later at the Avnoj Museum in Bihac, both in the northwest of Bosnia.
Anyone who loves a cappella music will love On the Rocks, the Embassy said, adding, “Their creative and crowd-pleasing style, creating music using only the human voice, has seen a recent revival in US culture through movies and television shows like Pitch Perfect and Glee.”
“On the Rocks has produced six studio albums, travelled on tours, and performed on national TV in the United States,” the Embassy added.
The performance in the town of Bihac will take part within the opening of the Ulicama Bisca Festival, and it starts at 8 p.m. A day before, the concert at the Prijedor Theatre will start at the same time.
