Three migrants prevented from crossing Bosnia-Croatia border

Bosnian border police officers prevented three migrants, who used falsified Spanish ID cards, from crossing the border with Croatia at the Brod border crossing on Thursday.

The migrants, two adults and one minor, were discovered in a police control on the regular bus line Sarajevo-Frankfurt.

The police found in the bus raid the documents in which the migrants expressed intention to seek the asylum in Bosnia and Herzegovina. They also had in their personal belongings the original passports of Syria and Pakistan.

District prosecutor of Doboj, covering the northern border crossing area, has been informed about this case and further proceeedings regarding the case are ongoing, the Border Police said.
