Bosnian State Court rejected the Prosecution’s request for custody of the former general of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina Ramiz Drekovic, who was arrested on Wednesday, in his flat in Sarajevo.
Drekovic’s attorney Mirsad Crnovrsanin said for N1 that Drekovic was released from custody, but the Court still has to announce the restrictive measures against his client.
Drekovic was arrested on war crimes charges saying that he ordered the shelling of a Bosnian Serb majority town of Kalinovik in 1995.
