A 37-year-old father killed his three children and then hung himself, authorities concluded after investigating the lifeless bodies found on Thursday in a suburb of the western Bosnian town of Bihac.
“Police patrols were sent to the scene, and they determined that A.S., born in 1981 in Cazin, has in the family home in Bihac killed his three children, minors, and then committed suicide,” Snezana Galic, the spokesperson of the Interior Ministry in the Una Sana Canton, where the town is located, confirmed to N1 on Friday.

Bihac authorities declared the day the children will be buried a Day of Mourning in town.
