The United States supports Bosnia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty and the country’s future within the European Union is not questionable, but Bosnia’s Government must focus on economic development, employment, and the fight against corruption, said Deputy US Secretary of State, John Sullivan, after meeting with Bosnia’s three Presidents on Monday.
The three Presidency members, Bosnian Serb Milorad Dodik, Bosnian Croat Zeljko Komsic and Bosniak Sefik Dzaferovic, talked with Sullivan about cooperation with the US, the current political and economic situation in the country, regional relations, the fight against terrorism, illegal migrations and activities within the EU integration process.
The relationship between Bosnia and the US is good and stable, the Presidency members and the top US official agreed, according to a press release by Bosnia’s Presidency.
