When snow covers Jajce, the Central Bosnian town that dates back to the 14th century, it turns it into an image similar to an oil painting.
The medieval capital of the Bosnian Kingdom is renown for its history, cultural and archaeological significance and architecture, but also for how it fits into its natural surrounding, especially the Pliva waterfall.
It is locally known as “a museum under the open sky,” as it is home to 30 national monuments, and the number of tourists visiting it keeps growing yearly.
