Twenty-one young athletes will represent the flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF), an international sports event commencing on February 9, the festival's management confirmed.
Bosnian athletes will compete in six categories – alpine skiing, biathlon, cross-country skiing, short track speed skating, and snowboarding at the venues which once hosted the 1984 Winter Olympic Games.

Forty-six delegations confirmed their participation with 750 athletes, coaches and other team members. One hundred and fifty media teams were accredited to report from the event, while thousands of volunteers will assist the organisers in preparing the event.
The solemn opening ceremony will take place at Sarajevo's Zetra Olympic Hall, while the festival will be officially closed at Istocno Sarajevo's Slavija stadium.
