Prosecutors indicted on Tuesday eight former members of the Bosnian Army for crimes they allegedly committed against Bosnian Croat prisoners of war and civilians in a village near the central town of Vitez in 1993.
The eight are accused of killing at least 12 members of the Croat Defence Council, the wartime Bosnian Croat armed forces, who had previously surrendered, as well as two Bosnian Croat female civilians in Krizancevo village.
