Bosnia’s Council of Ministers adopted, on Wednesday, the Proposal for accession to the Outer Space Treaty from 1967.
Bosnia and Herzegovina, thus, showed readiness to cooperate with other member states of the Treaty on Principles Governing the Activities of States in the Exploration and Use of Outer Space, Including the Moon and Other Celestial Bodies..
This will also create conditions for young Bosnian scientists to take part in UN’s symposia from this field.
The ratification of this Treaty opens the possibility for Bosnia to apply for membership in the Committee for the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (COPUOS).
The State Communications Ministry will submit the Proposal to Bosnia’s Presidency for further approval.
