Bosnia's shot best putter Mesud Pezer won the gold medal at the 24th Balkan Indoor Championship and defended the title of the best shot putter in the Balkans.

“I met the expectations of the public that I would keep the primacy in the shot put discipline in the Balkans,” said Pezer, who holds Bosnian indoor record of 21.15 metres.

Pezer also holds Bosnian outdoor record of 21.40 metres, which is also the Balkan record.
