Bosnian wild horse is one of the most remarkable and autonomous breeds that can be seen in the plains of the west Herzegovina region, at the foot of Cincar Mountain.
Defying the cold winters, rain and wind, poachers and predators, herds of Bosnian wild horses have been inhabiting the area for decades. They are descendants of domestic horses who were set free by their owners in the 1970s at an era of economic and political migrations.
Since then, the horses have been gathering here, galloping around, sometimes crossing over the local roads in search for fresh spring water.
Dron.ba cameras captured beautiful scenery including the Bosnian wild horses, which attracts numerous visitors every year.
