Mostar’s centuries-old Ottoman bridge that was reconstructed after nationalists destroyed it during Bosnia’s 1992-95 war was on Saturday evening lit in the colours of New Zealand's flag, to honour the victims of the Christchurch massacre.
This is how the city expressed solidarity with the victims and their families, the Center for Peace and Multiethnic Cooperation said.
Mostar joined cities worldwide that have honoured the victims of the shooting, such as Sydney, New York and Paris.
