After receiving the criminal complaint of Croat member of Bosnia's tripartite Presidency, Zeljko Komsic, against his colleague Milorad Dodik, the Prosecution said it formed the case against the Bosnian Serb Leader.
“After receiving the complaint, the Prosecution formed the case and scheduled an investigation into the matter,” the State Prosecution said on Wednesday.
Earlier, Komsic said he had filed charges against Bosnia's Presidency Chairman Milorad Dodik who attended the anniversary of the Third Infantry Regiment of Bosnia's Armed Forces on May 12.
In his address, Dodik said that next year, Serb army members should wear the wartime uniforms of the Bosnian-Serb army who fought against the Bosniak-Croat military during the 1992-1995 war in the country.
Dodik argued that they should do this because the Third Infantry Regiment ‘Republika Srpska’ preserves the tradition of the wartime army of Bosnia's Serb-dominated region of Republika Srpska.
In 2005, the country conducted a defence reform, merging the Republika Srpska and the Federation entity's armies into one, with the command at the state level.
Dodik's statements caused foreign and local politicians and institutions to condemn them as counterproductive and detrimental reconciliation between peoples.
