The Chairman of Bosnia’s Presidency, Bosnian Serb Milorad Dodik, told N1 on Wednesday that he and Zeljko Komsic, his Croat colleague who recently sued him over a controversial speech, are “done” both on a political and on a personal level.
Dodik recently spoke at an event organised to mark the (wartime) Army of Republika Srpska (RS) and the Third Infantry Regiment in the northwestern city of Banja Luka on Sunday and urged the Regiment, which is formally part of Bosnia’s Armed Forces, to wear the uniforms of the Army of RS at the ceremony next year.

The Army of Republika Srpska is the wartime army of the Serb-dominated part of the country which fought against Bosniak and Croat forces. It disappeared when Bosnia’s leaders decided to melt all armed forces in Bosnia into one in 2005, which Dodik called a mistake.
Komsic sued him for attempting to incite a rebellion in the Armed Forces.
“He sued, we will see what will happen,” Dodik told N1, adding that Komsic had sued him before as well and calling the lawsuit a “political game.”
“I’ve had a hundred complaints submitted against me, they are always threatening me with something, two years ago they wanted to search my house and take things away,” Dodik said.
“Let him have his lawsuit, as for the two of us, we are done politically. Since we are part of the same body, I tried to understand what this was all about, but he decided to do such a thing. He is playing his political game which belongs to politically marginal people,” Dodik said.
When N1 asked the Croat Presidency member to comment Dodik's statement that the two of them were “done,” Komsic responded: “I didn’t even know that we started anything.”
He said that Dodik “has a right to be angry, but most of all at himself.”
“I didn’t prompt him to do and say the things he did and said. I would suggest that he calms down, it is better for him and for those he represents,” Komsic said.
