Kosovo’s Minister of Trade and Industry Endrit Shala said on Monday Pristina would immediately introduce new measures against Serbia and Bosnia if the two countries retaliated by implementing counter-measures against 100 percent import tariffs on their goods, the Beta news agency reported.
Shala said that whatever Serbia and Bosnia did would only be the continuation of the measures against Kosovo by those two countries in the last 19 years.
“Any measure by Serbia and Bosnia will receive the same answer in no time,” Shala wrote on his Facebook profile.
He added that Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina should understand that Kosovo was a state.
“Those two countries have been fighting against the Republic of Kosovo since the war (1988-1999 armed conflict in Kosovo),” Shala added.
