The parliaments of Montenegro and Kosovo approved the agreement on demarcation and the two prime ministers concurred that there could be open issues during the marking of the border, but that it was important they were approached appropriately and with honesty, the FoNet news agency reported on Wednesday.

Ramush Haradinaj of Kosovo and Dusko Markovic of Montenegro said that the next step would be to form a commission which would start to mark the border, Pristina's RTK TV reported.

“It is probable that some issues will occur, but for Montenegro and Kosovo it will be important to address them in good faith,” Markovic said.

Haradinaj agreed, adding he “sincerely hope that any vagueness in the process will be solved.”
