Three persons were killed in a traffic accident Friday morning on A1 highway section near Sarajevo, a police spokesperson confirmed for N1.

A child is among the victims of the car crash.

Hasan Hodzic, the spokesperson for the Central Bosnia Canton Ministry of Internal Affairs, which covers the area where the accident took place, said another child was injured and hospitalised at the Sarajevo University Clinical Centre.

Due to the accident, the traffic has been temporarily suspended on the A1 Vlakovo-Lepenica highway section.
