Legendary Bosnian basketball player Razija Mujanovic has become a member of the Women's Basketball Committee at the International Basketball Federation, which is her another acknowledgement in the basketball world after she joined the FIBA Hall of Fame in 2017.

Mujanovic was nominated by Bosnia's Basketball Association with Chairman Mirza Teletovic, Bosnian famed player, who said this was the only logical choice.

“Her experience will help European basketball and we are honoured that she will be representing Bosnia and Herzegovina,” said Teletovic.

Upon the selection, Mujanovic said she was proud of being Bosnia's voice in Basketball headquarters, hoping that her position will help the development of this sports in the country.

Mujanovic was selected unanimously and she will be one of 14 committee members in charge of women basketball in Europe.

She was named the best female European basketball player three times, in 1991, 1994 and 1995. She retired after playing her last game for the Bosnian national team in September 2007.
