Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the President of Turkey, will arrive in Sarajevo on Monday for an official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bosnian media reported on Tuesday.
Erdogan is scheduled to hold a series of meetings with local officials and will attend a dinner in the Presidency’s building, organised for heads of state participating in the South-East Europe Cooperation Process (SEECP) Summit, according to online media outlet Faktor.ba.
Turkish President will attend the SEECP meeting on Tuesday along with the Presidents of Albania, Montenegro and North Macedonia.
The SEECP consists of 13 participants from the SEE region, who meet at the level of Heads of State/Government, Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Political Directors of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, under the chairmanship of the participant that holds the one-year rotating presidency.
The SEECP is currently chaired by Bosnia and Herzegovina.
