Bosnia's Federation (FBiH) entity rebalanced its 2019 budget to some €1.3 billion, ensuring around €12 million for the allowance to veterans provided by the Draft Law on the Rights of Veterans, said FBiH Prime Minister Fadil Novalic after the rebalance was adopted on Thursday.
After both, the House of Representatives and the House of Peoples adopted the rebalance, the new budget is some €24 million higher.
The rebalanced budget provides some €53 million for the construction of Lasva-Nevic polje expressway and the Mostar bypass.
The budget also provides additional funds for the construction of road infrastructure in the amount of some €22 million. These funds will be used for the construction of the Hranjen tunnel on the road to Gorazde, eastern Bosnia.
The construction of the Bihac airport will also continue and the FBiH government earmarked approx. €1 million for these purposes.
The FBiH government said that these and all other rebalanced funds were left from the 2018 budget as unused funds.
