Kosovo politician Daut Haradinaj said that Kosovo Security Forces are better armed than any military or police force in the region.

The Kosovo military has the most modern weapons in the region while Serbia has rusty arms from Russia, the KoSSev news portal reported him as saying on Friday.

He denied any deterioration of relations between Pristina and Washington over the refusal to revoke the 100 percent tariffs on foods from Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina. “We have a lot of friends in the US and they will help us reinforce the military with sophisticated weapons,” he said.

Haradinaj, an official of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo and brother to former Prime Minister Ramush, said that an agreement between Kosovo and Serbia would be reached one day. “The Serbs are also tired and want a solution. There is huge dissatisfaction,” he said.
