The Veterinary Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has on Monday temporarily banned the import of pigs and boars and pork products from neighbouring Serbia over suspicions that African swine fever may have spread to the country.
The ban came after the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) issued a warning with suspicions that the disease has spread to Serbian territory.
It will be in force until Serbian institutions forward official information saying that there are no grounds for suspicion that the disease may be present.
