Last month, most tourists visiting Bosnia's Serb-dominated entity of Republika Srpska (RS) came from Serbia, while Turkish tourists were placed second, according to the RS Statistics Agency.
Last month, some 5,000 Serbian tourists visited this entity and made some 9.200 overnight stays, while some 3,000 Turks made approx. 3,300 overnight stays.
Some 1,500 Croatian tourists made around 3,500 overnight stays while 1,400 Slovenians made around 2,600 overnight stays.
The Statistics Agency also recorded a rise in the number of Polish and German tourists both of whom surpassed the number of Montenegrin tourists in the previous month.
A total of 37,118 tourist arrivals were recorded last month in this semi-autonomous entity, which is 12.8 percent less compared to June 2019. This number is also 2.9 percent smaller than that from July 2018.
Most tourists (34.120) stayed in hotels and similar accommodation.
