Serbian Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Minister Zorana Mihajlovic announced that preparatory works on construction of the Belgrade-Sarajevo highway, the Sremska Raca-Kuzmin highway, will begin in the next couple of days, and the construction of the Moravian corridor by the end of September.
“Serbian and Turkish companies will be working on the project, and the construction will take about two and a half years. At the same time we will prepare the technical documentation for the second section of the ‘ring road’ from Pozega to Kotroman, which is 63 kilometres in length,” Mihajlovic.
For the construction of the Moravian corridor, the Government of Serbia chose the “Behtel-Enka” consortium as their strategic partner, with whom they will “sign a commercial contract in the next 15 days, so they could begin the works by the end of September,” he concluded.
