Two days after the Civil Protection officers safely removed a half a ton aerial bomb at a construction site in Sarajevo, another bomb was found at the same location, Civil Protection Chief Fahrudin Solak confirmed to news agencies.
The bomb found last week weighted 500 kilos and likely dated back to WWII. This one seems to be of similar dimensions and capabilities but experts are yet to determine all specificities before the explosive weapon is removed.
The construction site is located behind the state television building.
“The Federation's Civil Protection teams have been sent to the location. The bomb has not been completely dug out, so we don't know yet what kind of a bomb that is. Telling from its dimensions, it looks the same as one found on Thursday,” said Solak.
