Nikos Stathopoulos, a Partner and a member of the BC Partners Executive Committee told N1 the main purpose of his visit to Belgrade was to meet the SBB and United Media employees, Serbia’s officials and to present “our business strategy,” N1 reported.
Stathopoulos met the representatives of the Dutch and the UK embassies to Serbia and the employees of SBB and United Media which BC Partners is the majority owner of.
On Friday, Stathopoulos is due to meet Prime Minister Ana Brnabic and people from the US, German and Greek embassies.
“We are focused on the growth of this excellent company, on developing more ways for that growth in Serbia but also in the rest of the region,” Stathopoulos told N1.
Asked about his message to the diplomats, he said: "We would like them to continue supporting the competition and the possibility of choice in telecommunications and media in this country."
